Honouring the beautiful Lady Alexandra, Princess of Wales. Alexandra Caroline Marie Charlotte Louise Julia, Princess of Denmark, was born in Copenhagen on December 1, 1844.

At the age of sixteen she was chosen as the future wife of Albert Edward, Prince of Wales, the English heir apparent of Queen Victoria. Alexandra and Albert Edward were eventually married eighteen months later on the 10th of March 1863 at Saint Georges Chapel, Windsor Castle, England. Alexandra became Princess of Wales and remained Princess of Wales until 1901. She is the longest to ever hold that title.

Upon the death of Queen Victoria in 1901, Victorias son, Albert Edward became King Edward VII of England and Alexandra became Queen. Alexandra remained Queen of England until Edwards death in 1910.
